Is this old Volvo worth buying? A 1972 Volvo 145 Express. So if you don't know what the Express was, it's a very, very rare model. They were used in Sweden mainly in overseas in Europe, they were used for things like ambulances. And there was one model I know of that was used as a service car for rally parts and they would drive around in California. Not too bad on the rusty either. It's definitely worth restoration. And it's manual. 72 was the year they put the shifter on the floor makes a big difference, especially if you have the overdrive. This is a really cool car. If I was in the UK, I would buy this no problem any day of the week, getting it shipped over to America and probably another two grand on top. That's worth it all day. If you're in the market for one of these, you'd be one of the maybe five people in the states who have an express model. Someone better jump on this. This is really awesome.
